SWISS AMC
Your data, handled with care.
This notice explains how your data is used when you visit this website or contact SWISS AMC. It follows the framework of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and its Ordinance.

Data and purposes
The host may receive technical browsing data: IP address, date and time, requested resource, browser and referring page where transmitted. These support delivery and security. The form collects name, organisation, email, topic and message; phone is optional. Meeting requests add a preferred date and time in Swiss time. These details are used to respond, prepare a discussion and follow up. Do not send passwords, sensitive data or confidential project information.
Recipients and providers
Enquiries are intended for SWISS AMC and people authorised to respond. Hosting and email services involved in transmission or storage are technical recipients. No sale of data or automatic newsletter registration is planned. Emails sent through your own email application also pass through your provider.
Processing locations and transfers
The preview uses OpenAI’s platform, separately from the intended Infomaniak hosting. We do not describe this preview as exclusively Swiss processing. Before the public form is activated, actual providers, storage and remote-access countries, and required transfer safeguards must be identified and disclosed. A .ch domain alone does not guarantee Swiss-only processing.
Retention
Enquiries should be deleted or anonymised once handling and follow-up no longer require them. Contracts, legal duties or the defence of rights may justify separate retention of relevant records. Actual email, log and backup periods must be confirmed before public launch. Form abuse prevention uses a pseudonymised IP identifier and timestamps within a one-hour window; residual files are designed for daily deletion after 24 hours. Messages are not stored in a website database.
Cookies and external services
The website code embeds no advertising, analytics, external maps, fonts, videos or social widgets. Language is selected through links. Once activated, the form uses the technical swissamc_form cookie to protect submission; it lasts for the browser session, and its protection token is valid for one hour. Blocking cookies may prevent form delivery. Preview-platform access cookies are managed by that platform. No external calendar is currently integrated.
Security and automated decisions
The site is prepared for HTTPS, encrypted SMTP, input validation, cross-site submission protection and abuse controls. Email configuration must remain outside the public directory. These measures require correct operation and access control. No automated individual decision-making or profiling is planned; meeting requests are reviewed personally.
Your rights
You can request information about your data, correction or deletion, object to processing, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Data delivery or transfer can be requested where statutory conditions apply. Contact privacy@swissamc.com or our postal address and describe your request. Proportionate identity verification may be needed. Information requests are generally handled free of charge within 30 days, subject to legal exceptions. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
